To the person who has recently earned a Silkie chicken (aka “fluffy chicken”) because of Tumblr:

Did you know that with some food coloring or Easter egg dye, a sponge and a whole lot of patience, you can do this with your new chicken? Just be sure to use non-toxic dye, but the process itself of sponging the dye onto the bird is non-harmful to the chicken and the dye wears off after a while.

And you get Dr. Seuss chickens! How can you say no this? Of course you can’t!
